Jose Mourinho attends Manchester United U23s' Premier League 2 clash to get a glimpse of Diogo Dalot as he looks to solve club's defensive issues

The Portuguese full back was offensive-minded and impressed fans on social media with his crossing ability.

Mourinho has been desperate for defenders this summer and the emergence of Dalot could be the light at the end of the tunnel for some fans after offering a new dynamic going forward, at least.

While he didn't get a full run out, all eyes were on him as he marauded up and down the right-hand side despite not being tested that much defensively.

Angel Gomes scored the winner in the first half but Dalot was the main attraction on the night.
