Man City and Sterling contract talks stall
The England international's deal will expire in June 2020
Contract talks between Manchester City and Raheem Sterling have stalled over a dispute in wages, reports the Guardian.
Sterling, who's deal runs through June 2020, wants to be one of City's best-paid players and wants his salary raised from £170,000-a-week ($235k) to a minimum £220,000.
The club does not agree with that valuation, and though both sides are willing to be patient, it could force City's hand in the summer if the situation is not resolved by then.
